Every Decision One Make Should be Around Maximising Freedom and Love

mind, learn

Are you living a life that aligns with your values and beliefs? The concept of "change" is inherent in the process of evolution, as organisms must adapt to changing conditions in order to survive and reproduce. So, If you’re not evolving, you’re doing something wrong. Therefore, it can be said that change is the only constant in the process of evolution. Whether we like it or not, things change over time, same does our body. Progress however, is the only thing we can choose to focus on.

Organisms are constantly adapting and evolving as well, so do people in response to their environment and this process of change is ongoing and never-ending. Let's consider that evolution is not just a physical process that takes place over millions of years. It is also a psychological and spiritual process that occurs within each of us throughout our lives. As we grow and develop, we evolve into more conscious and self-aware beings, with greater capacity for empathy, creativity and wisdom.

Brainwaves, Heartstrings and Core Values

However, this evolution is not always a linear or straightforward process. There are many factors that can hinder our growth and delay our progress. One of the biggest obstacles to our evolution is the power of our own minds. Our thoughts, emotions and beliefs shape our reality and influence our actions. When our minds are clouded by negativity or distraction, we may become stuck in patterns of behavior that limit our potential.

For example, if we constantly dwell on past mistakes or worry about future events, we may miss out on opportunities for growth in the present moment. If we allow our fears or insecurities to control our actions, we may avoid taking risks or pursuing our passions. If we become addicted to substances or behaviors that numb our minds, we may lose touch with our true selves and our capacity for growth.

Therefore, anything that takes away the power of our minds, whether it be external distractions or internal obstacles, can keep us still and delay our evolution. To overcome these obstacles and reach our full potential, we must learn to cultivate a strong and focused mind, one that is free from negative thoughts and distractions, and capable of accessing our innate wisdom and creativity.

Summary

The importance of cultivating a strong and focused mind to overcome obstacles and reach our full potential is imperative. Becoming more self-aware and learning to control our thoughts and emotions, we can free ourselves from the limitations that hold us back and evolve into more conscious, compassionate and creative beings.

Sacrificing Personal Values for Corporate Gain

The pursuit of personal and emotional fulfillment should be prioritized over the pursuit of career success within a corporate environment that may not prioritize the individual's well-being or values. Maximizing freedom is refering to both personal and societal freedom. On a personal level, prioritizing choices and actions that align with one's values and desires should be in top 3 priorities one has, rather than solely pursuing financial gain or societal status.

Today’s societal level, it may not always involve advocating for policies and systems that promote individual autonomy, equality and justice, over profits. Some corporate environments may prioritize profit and productivity over employee well-being and may not offer the necessary support or resources for individuals to thrive both personally and professionally. Also, prioritizing love, into cultivating meaningful relationships with others, as well as engaging in activities that bring personal fulfillment and joy, should be more intentional and mindful in our decision-making processes, ensuring that our choices align with our personal values and goals.

By making a weekly routine of questioning our decision-making processes, not only now and then, we can create a habit of self-reflection and introspection, allowing us to assess whether our actions are serving our best interests in the long term. This practice encourages us to focus on our personal needs and desires, rather than solely prioritizing short-term gains or societal expectations.

Summary

In contrast, climbing a corporate ladder can often involve sacrificing personal values and priorities for the sake of professional advancement, potentially leading to burnout, dissatisfaction and even compromising personal integrity.

Changing Your Realm by the Train of Thought

The power of the mind is immense and it can shape our reality in ways we may not even realize. Our thoughts and beliefs have a profound impact on our lives and they can influence the world around us. It's been said that "we become what we think about most of the time," and this affirmation holds a lot of truth. The red car example is so simplistic yet relevant. It refers to a phenomenon known as the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon or frequency illusion.

It's a cognitive bias where once a person learns, notices or gives value to something, they start seeing it everywhere.

Once a person acknowledges their love for a red car, their brain becomes more attuned to noticing red cars. This happens because the brain has a selective attention mechanism that filters out irrelevant information and focuses on what it deems important. So, when a person's brain recognizes that red cars are important to them, it starts paying more attention to them. The brain's selective attention mechanism works by filtering information based on a person's beliefs, values, interests and goals.

So, if a person believes that red cars are rare or valuable, their brain will filter out information about other colored cars and focus on red ones. This phenomenon can happen with anything, not just cars. Once a person learns about something new and it attributes value, they start noticing it everywhere and it feels like it's suddenly become more prevalent.

Overall, it highlights how our perception of reality is subjective and influenced by our beliefs, values and experiences. The way we perceive the world is not objective but rather filtered through our individual lenses. It's all about the energy we put out into the world and our thoughts are a reflection of that energy.

Summary

Only by changing our thoughts, we can change our beliefs and attitudes, which eventually will change our  behaviors, which can ultimately change the course in one’s life. By changing our thoughts, we can change our realm. We can create a new reality for ourselves, one that is filled with whatever one can desire for him or herself. It all starts with our thoughts and the power we have to control them. The power which often tend to objectively ignore and find external factors to give away.

You’re Only Enslaved if You Can't Control Your Mind

The human mind is a complex and powerful tool that can either make or break a person's life. It is the center of all thoughts, emotions, actions and it is what drives us to achieve our goals and aspirations. However, when we allow our minds to control us, we become slaves to our thoughts and emotions. The statement above emphasizes the importance of self-control and the ability to manage one's thoughts and emotions.

When we lack control over our minds, we become vulnerable to negative emotions such as fear, anxiety and anger, which can significantly affect our well-being and productivity. Worry and anxiety paralyze the mind and does not allow you to take action to address the source of our concerns. Similarly, if we allow anger and frustration to control us, we may lash out at others, causing harm to ourselves and those around us.

Therefore, it is crucial to learn how to control our minds and emotions to avoid being enslaved by them. One way to do this is through mindfulness practices, such as meditation, which can help us become more aware of our thoughts and emotions and learn how to respond to them in a healthy and constructive way. Another way to gain control over our minds is through self-reflection and introspection.

Just spend time with yourself even if only for 5 minutes and ask yourself if what you’re doing, is it taking you elsewhere than your desired destination really is, or not? By taking the time to reflect on our thoughts and emotions, we can gain a better understanding of ourselves and our motivations and make conscious decisions that align with our values and goals. By taking steps to gain control over our minds by this busy overwhelming realm, we can improve our well-being, increase our productivity and live a more fulfilling life.

Summary

In a world where we are constantly bombarded with messages telling us what to buy and who to be, it can be easy to forget the importance of living a life that is grounded in peace for the inner-self and love. Today’s world often values material possessions and instant gratification above all else, it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But by taking the time to reflect on our true needs and desires and making decisions that prioritize these values over the empty promises of consumerism, we can reclaim our souls and live more fulfilling lives.

The Bottom Line

As individuals, we have the power to make choices that prioritize what is really important for ourselves, even in the face of a culture that may encourage superficiality and the idea that one is always in need for something external. Your choice is yours, every minute, every day. We should each strive to be conscious consumers, making choices that align with our values and support our well-being, rather than blindly following the latest trends and fads.

By embracing these values, we can find greater meaning, purpose and happiness in our lives and inspire others to do the same. So let us each make a commitment to living a life that is driven by freedom and love, and let our decisions be a reflection of the values that we hold dear.
