Clear argues that small, incremental changes can lead to significant improvements in our lives over time. He offers a four-step framework for creating effective habits.

He also emphasizing the importance of identifying the underlying reasons for our behaviors, designing a clear and achievable plan, and tracking our progress. Clear also explores the role of environment and social influences in shaping our habits and provides strategies for creating a supportive and empowering context for behavior change.
