Limitless, a tower vertical touchscreen filled with gold blocks representing the logo of FTSE share index companies

Drawing inspiration from the ancient Tower of Babel myth, the artist presents two captivating focal pieces. The first, aptly named Limitless, features a towering eight-foot-high vertical touchscreen adorned with gleaming gold blocks. Each block proudly bears the logo of a different company, intricately linked to the FTSE share index. This interconnection, in turn, determines the blocks' positions and their changing luster or tarnish. The artwork ingeniously reflects real-time market fluctuations, offering viewers an illuminating and thought-provoking contemplation of capital growth.

‘There’s less permanence in anything around us at the moment and it just feels to me natural, if not incredibly appropriate, that my pieces, while permanent in the traditional ‘static’ sense, also capture the blurred lines of the digital world.’
